A classic!

We’ve been hosting these courses in Umag for over 35 years. Umag is located about 600 km from Munich and is a small town with 13,000 residents on the northwestern coast of Istria. The indented coastline stretches for 45 kilometers and features numerous beaches and coves. The hotels and apartments we offer are all located right on the water and are within easy walking distance of one another. The wide variety of entertainment and sports activities promises a wonderful vacation. For two weeks each year, Umag is the venue for our largest training camp. Vacation plus table tennis—a winning combination for more than 20 years. See for yourself.

Training Schedule

Training takes place 6 days a week (Sunday–Friday) for 2.5 hours each day, for a total of 15 hours. The first Saturday is reserved for arrival, and the second Saturday for departure. There is no training on these days.

Training times depend on the number of participants:

Up to 50 participants: daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
50 or more participants (almost always the case): 2 groups are formed—8:30–11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. We expressly reserve the right to determine the group assignments ourselves. The groups switch shifts daily, meaning that everyone trains sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon.

Hotel SIPAR ****

Newly renovated in 2017, Hotel Sipar is located on a coastal headland, just 1 km from the city center. Take a stroll into the town of Umag and discover its historic sites and churches, as well as its nightlife and lively cafés. The spacious and practically furnished rooms are decorated in Mediterranean shades of blue, green, and yellow. They offer every comfort, including a beautiful balcony where you can enjoy a drink before dinner. Room service is also always available, even on days when you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. Spend your vacation in one of Croatia’s happiest places, on the coast of Umag, at a hotel nestled in the greenery of the Punta Area.

Amenities: Satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi internet access, minibar, safe, air conditioning, bathroom with shower and hair dryer, balcony, family rooms (2+2) available, room service (charged separately).

Dining: DINING buffet restaurant with show cooking, lobby bar, pool bar/snack bar, à la carte restaurant on the beach and in the hotel

Sports & Entertainment: Fitness program featuring keep-fit classes, stretching, and water aerobics; jogging trail; nearby sports activities; water sports; beach volleyball; Park & Ride station—automated rental system for city bikes and e-bikes Concrete beach in front of the hotel; 3 outdoor pools (1 for babies, 1 for children) with seawater; lounge chairs and umbrellas by the outdoor pools and on the beach in front of the hotel (available free of charge, limited availability)

Check-in from 2:00 p.m., check-out by 10:00 a.m. Pets are not allowed.

A double room facing the sea costs an additional €5.00 per day per person. Please indicate this in the comment field of the registration form if desired.

Umag war wieder eine Reise wert!

Trainerteam, Halle (auch wenns warm war und viel zu Wischen gab...) sowie Hotel top, sehr positiv die neuen Trainingszeiten nur vormittags!! Individuelle Übungen für alle Spieler/innen! Passender Termin unmittelbar vor Saisonbeginn, ideale Kombi TT & Urlaub mit einem super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert, ich bin 2027 wieder dabei!

PERFEKTES TT-Trainingslager

Ein sehr sportliche Woche!
6 Tage TT-Training. Trainiert von 5 Profis, die alle ihr Bestes geben! Wir sind mit Freunden aus Westfalen und München angereist. Klimatisierte Sporthalle. Vom fortgeschrittenen Anfänger bis zum „Profi“ waren unterschiedliche Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen dabei. Davon einige, die wir wir jedes Jahr wieder kommen, aus gutem Grund!
Wir freuen uns schon auf 2027!

Im Urlaub was lernen

Nach 10 Jahren in Bozen habe ich den September-LG in Umag sehr genossen. Eine Einheit täglich mit individuellem Systemtraining ist für mich als "älterer Spieler" ausreichend, daneben konnte ich das Meer sowie das Essen und die Annehmlichkeiten im Hotel Sipar genießen - sozusagen eine "Win-Win-Veranstaltung" mit einem nahezu unschlagbaren Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die erfahrenen Trainer/innen kenne ich zum Großteil schon lange, sie arbeiten Jahr für Jahr beharrlich an meinen Fehlern und ich kann regelmäßig jede Menge verbessern. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert als Saisonvorbereitung, ich bin 2026 (1 Tag länger) wieder dabei!
