EXPLOSION PRO is an evolution of Dr. Neubauer's classic short pimple rubber, EXPLOSION.
This new version still offers an excellent balance between control, offensive possibilities, and disruptive effect.
With EXPLOSION PRO, the developers have managed to increase both the speed and the disruptive effect slightly. The rubber plays overall "explosively," as the ball can be accelerated significantly during counter-hitting and especially on direct shots. This results in an even flatter ball trajectory, which will cause the opponent to make mistakes.
EXPLOSION PRO also offers good to very good control, allowing all short pimple strokes to be executed with high accuracy.
The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is achieved with thinner sponge thicknesses (1.2mm and 1.5mm). With a thicker sponge, the rubber becomes faster but produces slightly less disruptive effect.
