EXPLOSION EXTREME is a consistent evolution of the EXPLOSION series.
This new version still offers an excellent balance between control, attacking potential, and disruptive effect.
With EXPLOSION EXTREME, the speed has been further increased thanks to the use of an innovative, very fast sponge, allowing the ball to accelerate more strongly during counter-hits and drives.
The disruptive effect has also been enhanced: when blocking, countering, or driving, the ball noticeably drops, provoking direct errors from the opponent.
Control remains at a high level, so all short-pips strokes can be executed with confidence.
The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is achieved with thinner sponge thicknesses (1.2 / 1.5 / 1.8 mm). A thicker sponge increases speed but slightly reduces the disruptive effect.
The rubber comes pre-glued. Apply a thin additional layer of water-based table tennis glue to the rubber and a normal layer (also water-based) to the blade, then let it dry for 15 minutes.
Finally, carefully roll the rubber onto the blade and trim any excess.

With EXPLOSION PRO, the developers have managed to increase both the speed and the disruptive effect slightly. The rubber plays overall "explosively," as the ball can be accelerated strongly during counter-hitting and especially on direct shots. This results in an even flatter ball trajectory, which will tempt the opponent into making mistakes. EXPLOSION PRO also offers good to very good control, allowing all short pimple strokes to be executed with high precision. The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is achieved with thinner sponge thicknesses (1.2mm and 1.5mm). With a thicker sponge, the rubber becomes faster but produces slightly less disruptive effect.
