Donic Bluegrip J: The Success Story Continues
The new addition to the BLUEGRIP-J series combines the strengths of two rubbers. Under the guidance of Donic’s new partner Zhang Jike, a fusion of the BLUESTAR A and BLUEGRIP C series was created. The top-sheet compound of the BLUESTAR A provided the foundation for this mix, while the sponge structure and top-sheet geometry correspond to that of the BLUEGRIP C.
The result is a rubber that meets the highest demands: very dynamic and extremely spin-friendly, powerful yet still sensitive. This Donic rubber series also offers three versions: the BLUEGRIP J-1 is the hardest, the J-2 the medium, and the J-3 the softest sponge variant.
China’s superstar Zhang Jike personally spent countless hours during development perfecting the fine-tuning down to the smallest nuance. The result is an impressive blend of the positive characteristics of two proven rubber lines—the Donic BLUEGRIP J. Naming this new series after him with the “J” is well deserved.
