Our short pimple rubber PISTOL has been a best-seller since its launch in 2006, thanks to its unique playing characteristics. This new version, PISTOL 2, continues the high level of control and offers the same pleasant, "soft" ball feel. However, we have also adapted this rubber to the new plastic balls. PISTOL 2 now generates more disruptive effect when blocking, countering, and shooting, allowing for a dynamic and dangerous short pimple game. The Faster and More Dangerous Variant for Classic Short Pimple Play EXPLOSION PRO is an evolution of Dr. Neubauer's classic short pimple rubber, EXPLOSION. This new version still offers a very good balance between control, offensive possibilities, and disruptive effect. With EXPLOSION PRO, the developers have managed to increase both the speed and the disruptive effect slightly. The rubber plays overall "explosively," as the ball can be accelerated strongly during counter-hitting and especially on direct shots. This results in an even flatter ball trajectory, which will tempt the opponent into making mistakes. EXPLOSION PRO also offers good to very good control, allowing all short pimple strokes to be executed with high precision. The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is achieved with thinner sponge thicknesses (1.2mm and 1.5mm). With a thicker sponge, the rubber becomes faster but produces slightly less disruptive effect.
