Softer, More Control, Very Good Disruptive Effect
KILLER SOFT is glued with a significantly softer sponge. The resulting extension of the ball’s contact time on the racket provides noticeably more control in nearly all stroke techniques, both in the passive game (serve receive, push, block) and in the active game (counter-hit, shot).
Despite the very soft touch, KILLER SOFT is a fast rubber that enables powerful play in an offensive style. The improved control makes it easier for less experienced short pimple players to enter the world of KILLER rubbers. The disruptive effect is still very pronounced, as nearly all balls on the opponent's side pull downwards. Especially during blocking, countering, and shooting, the ball bounces flat and leads to many direct points.
The best compromise between offensive possibilities, control, and disruptive effect is achieved with sponge thicknesses of 1.3mm and 1.5mm.
With thicker sponges (1.8mm, 2.0mm, and MAX), the rubber becomes increasingly faster but with reduced control and disruptive effect.

The decisive factor is the disruptive effect it creates: Stronger than with normal short pimples, the ball dips dangerously, putting the opponent under pressure. This is now the fifth variant of the highly successful KILLER series. KILLER EXTREME is primarily an evolution of KILLER PRO. The goal was to further improve the disruptive effect achieved when blocking, countering, and shooting. The ball noticeably drops on the opponent's side during almost all phases of play, causing problems and even direct mistakes. This makes KILLER EXTREME one of the most dangerous short pimple rubbers on the market. The faster sponge also allows for more pressure to be built up in the active game, making it easier to score points with active counter-hitting and direct shots. The best compromise between control and disruptive effect is achieved with thinner sponge thicknesses (1.3mm and 1.5mm). With a thicker sponge, the rubber becomes faster but produces slightly less disruptive effect. The rubber is pre-glued. Please apply an additional thin layer of water-based table tennis glue to the rubber, and a normal glue layer (also water-based) to the blade, then let it dry for 15 minutes. Finally, gently roll the rubber onto the blade and trim off any excess.
