BOOMERANG CLASSIC is ideally suited for long defense. The rubber is characterized by a lot of underspin and high control. Even strong topspin balls can be played back flat from defense. Furthermore, this grippy long pimple rubber creates particular danger because the ball drops quickly on the opponent’s side, making their next attack much more difficult.
When playing at the table, BOOMERANG CLASSIC allows you to neutralize the incoming spin with the block ball, either by placing it short behind the net or on the baseline. Additionally, this ball is largely played back with little to no spin (“empty”), causing the opponent to tend to pull the ball off the table.
Moreover, powerful counter-hits and pressure pushes can be executed easily. Even a direct shot on spin balls without prior preparation is possible.
