All three models feature a top veneer of Italian spruce over 200 years old, combined with a 3 mm core of Kiri wood. Additional layers include spruce veneers, or in the case of the Appelgren All+, Ayous wood and an innovative Carbonfleece-Zylon fabric (CFZ), produced exclusively for DONIC. Only high-quality sliced veneers from DONIC’s own production are used — these are sturdier than traditional rotary-cut veneers and guarantee the blade retains its playing qualities much longer without typical material fatigue. A specially developed drying process reduces the moisture content of all three wood types from 12–16% down to just 4%, making the blades especially stable and light (approx. 85 g for Waldner and Persson, only about 80 g for Appelgren All+). Each blade undergoes a 24-hour cold pressing process to ensure durability and consistency. Unique 3D technology shapes the handle ergonomically with flawless rounding for perfect grip comfort.
