The ABCs for Beginners 2025. 15 x 24 cm, 176 pages

This book is also available as part of a bundle ISBN 978−3−7780−8110−5 The book *Table Tennis for Beginners* is aimed at coaches working in clubs or in beginner’s groups, as well as dedicated physical education teachers in elementary and middle school. The curriculum includes, on the one hand, a case for combining general or rally-oriented basic training with an introduction to the world of children’s table tennis. On the other hand, *Ballschule Tischtennis* follows a competency-based approach, in which the basic techniques are viewed as solutions to tasks for the phases of serve and return, the table as an obstacle & opening, and open play. “Playing together” plays a key role from the very beginning. In the book’s extensive practical section, building-block games, building-block exercises, and sequence concepts are presented to improve a total of 23 coordinative (A), perceptual-motor (B), and technical-tactical (C) skills—which, taken together, form the ABCs of table tennis for beginners.
